I oppose to rename. There are artworks that named "Expulsion from the Garden of Eden".
@TwoWings: . Next time if you revert declined rename please follow it with explanation in the Category talk page. -- Geagea (talk) 09:52, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • TwoWings geagea - I really don't mean this in a funny way but the way that rationale was worded it was if TwoWings wasn't sure if it should be renamed..... and obviously I had no idea as I don't really have any knowledge of the category subject, If it was a case of "X is the correct name" or something similiar than ofoourse I'd move but yeah it sounded like they wasn't sure and as I have no idea I declined it, I would kindly ask TwoWings infuture to be positive what they're renaming is correct - If they're not sure ask an admin. –Davey2010Talk 13:41, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hey shouldn't we discuss about the merging instead of arguing on the way it's done. Thanks. Let's focus on the subject : what I meant is : it's exactly the same (Bible) subject, with two different names. Maybe it should be merged the other way (this one kept) but it has to be merged. If it's about artworks with that name, the title of the category is wrong and should be something like "Artworks about the Expulsion from the Garden of Eden" or "Artworks named Expulsion from the Garden of Eden". With the current name, there's no clue if it's a sort of disambiguation category or if it's a redundant cat with the same subject as the other one. --TwoWings * to talk or not to talk... 18:18, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Redirected, since it is the same. This is a general category, not the name of a specific work of art, so it should be merged with the category of the same topic. Works of art should be kept at their respective specific name (e.g. Category:Expulsion from the Garden of Eden (Masaccio) and Category:The Expulsion from Paradise (Albrecht Dürer)). --P 1 9 9   13:29, 21 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
