- Oppose Per A.Savin, sunset silouettes are nice, but I see no reason why this should be FP, especially as it's very ordinary technically --DXR (talk) 21:45, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
- Featured pictures need to be technically complicated now ?? when did this happen !!! Penyulap ☏ 21:49, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
- I apologize that my wording might have been ambiguous, I meant mediocre (or just call it insufficient, if you like). IMO the technical guidelines are clear enough, and this image has obvious denoise artifacts (look at the bridge, extremely soft, clear loss of details) and this is not good enough for a FP in my opinion.--DXR (talk) 21:59, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
- Well, he'll just have to find a powerplant at sunset that's built in a completely pollution-free city next time (?!?!) but seriously, this cannot be anywhere BUT a city with bad air pollution, which invariably is going to appear the same as noise. I can't think of how else digital cameras can present smog to the viewer. Never mind, often I see people pick out the smallest grains of dust like they were specks of gold in a prospectors pan.
