Or do you mean a scale at each picture? There are so many VI- and QI-pictures of plants, but I've never seen scales in these Pictures. Another way would be to make annotations in the picture with informations of diameter or length respectively. Scales are no longer in fashion in botanical photographs. They are thought to be distracting and the size range may be better described in words, or so I think.
