Commons talk:Administrators/Proposed

This is a suggested re-write of the main Commons:Administrators page. If it achieves consensus, I could then do similar drafts of the corresponding Bureaucrat, CU and Oversighter pages.

On the minimum requirements for admin nomination, as well as the requirements for being able to vote, I have kept the wording very general and open. There has been a lot of discussion about setting more definite requirements, but if anyone can discern a result from the discussions and votes at you have a better eye for consensus than I do :) (For the moment I can't find that old vote page; anyone know where it is?)

Please feel free not only to comment but also to edit the proposal boldly. I would also appreciate help in re-setting the language bar and working out whether all the interwiki links are still sensible. --MichaelMaggs (talk) 16:43, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

What now

Much (all?) of this page was put into effect I think. If so, perhaps we should scratch this page and note that it's available if and when there's a new rewrite proposal, or mark it historical, or something? It was a good rewrite and the page itself is much better for it, but as of now it may confuse folk. ++Lar: t/c 19:51, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
