Description
English: Staff Sgt. Lenita Robinson and Staff Sgt. Sabastian Sanchez, both medical laboratory technician assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Medical Squadron, scan units of blood so they can track units of blood into the computer system, Sept. 13, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The blood transshipment center is responsible for processing over 1200 units of blood weekly over a quarter million weekly to provide to the entire AOR along with 47 Department of Defense hospitals. Sgt. Robinson, a native of Sacramento, Calif., is deployed from Travis Air Force Base, Calif. and Sgt. Sanchez, a native of Ciudad. Juarez, Mexico, is deployed from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., both supporting Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
