Summary[edit]
DescriptionAFRICOM program builds capability, unity for noncommissioned officers 130524-A-GS735-001.jpg |
English: Thirty-three leaders, senior enlisted advisers and warrant officers of 24 African nations, visited the 7th U.S. Army's noncommissioned officer Academy, or 7th Army NCOA, May 2, as part of the U.S. Africa Command’s Joint Warrant Officer and Senior Noncommissioned Officer Symposium, or JWOS. At 7th Army NCOA, leaders were introduced to training capabilities available in Europe at Grafenwoehr's Joint Multinational Training Command, while also discussing ways to increase the role of women and noncommissioned officers in the military. Other themes centered around ways to expand individual and collective defense capabilities through cooperation. Grafenwoehr's Joint Multinational Training Command, the U.S. Army's only overseas training command, regularly hosts training with Multinational forces from NATO and allied and partner nations from Europe, Asia and Africa. |
