Title
A far cry from the brutal treatment given American prisoners of war by the Communist North Korean forces, is the humane consideration shown captured North Koreans by American and South Korean Armed Forces
Description
  • Scope and content: A far cry from the brutal treatment given American prisoners of war by the Communist North Korean forces, is the humane consideration shown captured North Koreans by American and South Korean Armed Forces. The general welfare of North Korean POW's is safeguarded by medical treatment for wounds and sickness, good food, sanitary living conditions, reliable information and healthful exercise. The American way of life, observed for the first time by these Communist captives, should tend to prove by comparison that democracy is a far better existence than Communism. Here, physical exercises in the open air give North Korean prisoners of war an opportunity to keep healthy.
