The chocolates were brought to Afghanistan by Susan Rice, the National Security Advisor, during her trip to FOB Gamberi earlier this year. Salinas spent Christmas Eve with the soldiers of 2nd Bn. wishing them a happy holiday and letting them know how much their contributions have meant to the brigade during their time in Afghanistan.
