Deutsch: Bad Kohlgrub, Hauptstraße 27: Haus des Gastes. Zu dem großformatigen Wandbild sind vor Ort keine Informationen (Titel, Maler, Datierung) angegeben. Die Darstellung ist wohl allegorisch aufzufassen: links vier Figuren, die den Kurbetrieb versinnbildlichen, rechts zwei musizierende Landleute, alle (idealisierend) in antikisch bis mittelalterlich anmutende Gewänder gekleidet. In der Presse ist vom „verstaubten Charme der 1960er Jahre“ zu lesen, den das Haus habe (Merkur, 24.09.2017 und 20.05.2018). Diese Zeitangabe passt zum Stil der Wandmalerei (etwa 1950er/60er Jahre). Der leuchtendblaue (offenbar in neuerer Zeit aufgefrischte) Farbklecks dieses Wandbilds ist aber gerade das Frischeste, das mir bei meinem (freilich nur kurzen) Besuch im Ort auffiel. Bad Kohlgrub ist außerdem durch den starken Autoverkehr auf der Staatsstraße, die mitten durch den Ort führt, erheblich belastet. Beim seit 2016 geplanten Umbau des Hauses des Gastes zum neuen Rathaus sollte im Jahr 2017 auch die Fassade eine Neugestaltung mit Holzschindeln und -brettern erfahren (Merkur, 17.02.2017), doch dagegen gab es Widerstand aus der Bevölkerung (Merkur, 15.03.2017). Ein erfolgreiches Bürgerbegehren durch Unterschriftensammlung (Merkur, 17.04.2017) führte zu einem Bürgerentscheid am 24.09.2017 (Süddeutsche Zeitung, 21.09.2017) über die Frage: „Sind Sie gegen die geplante Schindelfassade am jetzigen Haus des Gastes, zukünftiges Rathaus?“ Diese Frage wurde mit großer Mehrheit mit Ja beantwortet. Danach sollte die Fassade neu geplant werden (Merkur, 24.09.2017), doch 2018 wurde das gesamte Projekt (einschließlich der Fassade) zugunsten anderer Projekte auf unbestimmte Zeit ausgesetzt (Merkur, 20.05.2018). Die seit Ende März 2018 vorliegende Baugenehmigung blieb ungenutzt, und im August 2020 beendete der Gemeinderat die Planungen, „aber nur formal“ (wie es hieß), da die Regierung von Oberbayern dies bereits Ende 2019 getan hatte (Merkur, 20.08.2020). Soweit ich erkennen kann, entspricht der Zustand 2024 noch fast jenem von 2017; lediglich der Schriftzug „Kur- und Tourist-Information“ in dem weiß gemalten Bogen über der Tür wurde übermalt. Die Tourist-Information befindet sich jetzt in einem Gebäude gegenüber der Kirche. |
