Norsk bokmål: Ekspedisjonsmedlemmene i båter på vei nordover langs østkysten. Her er de fotografert sør for stedet de kalte «Ørneredet». Ett av bildene fra ekspedisjonen over Grønland i perioden juli 1888 til mai 1889. Fridtjof Nansen sammen med 5 norske deltagere krysset Grønland i løpet av en 42-dagers skiferd fra øst- mot vestkysten.
English: The members of the expedition on their way north along the east coast in boats. Here they are photographed south of the place that they named «The Eagles' nest». One of the pictures from the expedition to Greenland in the period July 1888 to May 1889. Fridtjof Nansen together with 5 other Norwegian participants crossed Greenland in the course of a 42-day skiing trip from the east to the west coast.

La expedición que partió de la costa oriental, necesitó 42 días para llegar a la costa occidental.
