Summary[edit]

Description Dr. Sharon Taylor and Michael Lusk, both of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, release a rescued Northern Gannet at the Egmont Key National Wildlife Refuge near St. Petersburg, Fla., May 23, 2010. The bird, which was found covered in oil near Louisiana's coastline, was cleaned and treated before being transferred to Florida aboard a U.S. Coast Guard HC-144A Ocean Sentry fixed-wing aircraft.
