I keep an eye out for subject matter that is suitable for Commons, both on the web and in the real world that I may happen to gain access to and capture with a camera. As of July 24, 2008, a year after registering with Commons, I have uploaded over 4,100 net images (~0.14% of all images as of this writing) as a result of some extraordinary circumstances. My personal record is uploading 124 (!) photos in a day.
For a categorized view of my contributions to Commons, please see Category:Files by User:BrokenSphere and/or Category:Photos by User:BrokenSphere. Most of my uploads are my own photos, and I have a backlog of hundreds of pics to go through that may be Commons eligible.

[edit] Commons objectives
- Find and upload what non-duplicative Commons-suitable images I can for either works that are public domain due to their age or creator (e.g. the US government) from online sources.
- Upload any suitable photos that I took that are not duplicative of other images on Commons.
- Illustrate the English Wikipedia where applicable with Commons images I uploaded myself or that are hosted here.
- Create galleries and categories as needed for better organization or to better highlight a particular subject.
- Migrate applicable images from the English Wikipedia to Commons.
[edit] Licensing
I license photos that I have taken myself as GFDL/CC. All I ask for is a notice of where you would like to use my work. I take satisfaction in knowing that others, especially those unaffiliated with the Wikimedia projects, may find my photos useful in some way and this is a small way to say "thank you" that doesn't cost the user $0.01. I do not upload my photos for people to take and use them as they will without following the terms of either license and inappropriately claiming credit, and shame on you if you do so.
