That is true. but I still think it is a useful link, since if you cut and paste in the window there than it works fine. Can anyone figure out how to fix this link? --Jarekt (talk) 20:13, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

@Jarekt: https://www.heise.de/netze/tools/traceroute/?plugin=109.238.80.47 works, but then you have to click the button which reads "Traceroute starten" in white letters on a black background. The link I posted didn't work for me when I started this section. I prefer a tool that gets straight to the point, without the extra click. An internationalized one that could detect or be fed my language and respond using that language and default numeric separator would be even better (I find the commas jarring).   — Jeff G. ツ _{please ping or talk to me} 05:48, 10 January 2018 (UTC)

whatismyipaddress.com and infosniper.net links support HTTPS

{{Edit request}} In this template, please change http://whatismyipaddress.com/ to https://whatismyipaddress.com/ instead. Also, please change http://www.infosniper.net/ to https://www.infosniper.net/ instead. From what I remember, the whatismyipaddress.com link generates, at minimum, an HTTP 301 redirect to an HTTPS URL and the infosniper.net link generates an HTTP 301 redirect to an HTTPS URL. Changing the whatismyipaddress.com and infosniper.net links to use HTTPS should reduce the number of redirects and should provide increased privacy and security for users.
