I was an editor for the English Wikipedia, and was with the project since late 2006, I joined Commons in September 2006, but I wasn't as active on Commons as I have been on Wikipedia. Images I've taken Category:Photographs by Bidgee

In the 1990s, as a adolescent, I found an interest in photography. Over time my interest grew with the advent of the digital camera. All my early cameras were brand-named film cameras, though I later moved on to a cheap (at the time) $200 2MP camera - and I became hooked. After which I upgraded to 2 FujiFilm digital cameras, followed by a Canon digital camera, a Pentax DSLR in 2007 and now a compact Samsung digital camera to carry around at all times. (See: User:Bidgee/Cameras which only has the digital camera [for now]).

I'm currently an volunteer at the Wagga Wagga Heritage Centre, a museologist and also interested in Australia's and the history of the Riverina.
