My name is Nick and I live and work in Gauteng, South Africa.
I contribute to many Wikimedia projects and my contributions are mostly centered around improving South African content. Due to historic reasons I have Admin status on Wikivoyage, but prefer not to have the same here as my online time is limited.

I mostly use an old Konica Minolta DiMage A200 and a Canon EOS 400D. The Konica is small enough to carry around, cheap enough not to be a disaster if it is stolen, lost or damaged and the photos it takes are adequate for my needs. For video and the occasional photo I use a waterproof Sanyo Xacti photo/video camera.
From time to time I might also dig into my better-half's camera bag and use her Canon 5D Mk II or Canon 7D with a variety of lenses.
