The name Nephron comes from the structural unit of the kidney.
I've been around here since mid-2008. I have 1000 plus image uploads. Most of the later ones are pathology-related and with my Rebel XSi. Generally, my images are post-processed with GIMP to white balance and de-vignette.

I am flattered if you find an image I have uploaded good enough for whatever use you have in mind. There is no need to ask me permission for use of any particular image(s); however, you must respect the applicable (copyleft) license(s) associated with the image(s).
A proper attribution should include the copyright date (based on the File history), my pseudonym (Nephron), and the full text of one of the licences. If the image is used online, a link to the full text of the licence is acceptable and I ask that you link to this page, for example:
