Thank you for uploading the 2010 Quiet Riot promo image to Wikipedia Commons. Unfortunately, according to the disclaimer on the Quiet Riot website, All images are copyright QUIET RIOT 2010. Use of the Mask artwork and logo are for press purposes only and for use in promotion of QUIET RIOT. Any use of these images for personal use is strictly prohibited. Because that wording is very different than public domain, meaning the copyright holder has released all copyright claims to all of the works contained in the photo, we need to make sure this image is correctly licensed. Please send an email from an address associated with the original publication (officialquietriot.com) to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating ownership of the material (Logo, mask, all images) and intention to relinquish all copyright claims in order to place it into public domain. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent deletion. Please include the full URI for this image in the email: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Promothumb.jpg
Also it would aid to have the website licensing terms re-worded to reflect a release to public domain as well. However if is *not* the copyright holders intent to place this image into public domain and allow use only as listed on the website Wikimedia Commons can not accept such images. But if the intent is to retain copyright of the material and still allow free reuse than consider using a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license. Please be aware that Wikimedia Commons does *not* accept works licensed as "Non-Commercial" or "No Derivatives". Thanks you. Soundvisions1 (talk) 19:42, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
