The highway corridor is now designated as "Highway 14" from Ponce to Cayey and part of "Highway 1" from Cayey to San Juan. The portion of the highway from central Caguas through Juana Díaz (excluding e.g. Ponce and San Juan) has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
