English: Dollymount Strand is a 5 km-long sandy beach on Bull Island (Oileán an Tairbh in Irish) (more properly North Bull Island (Oileán an Tairbh Thuaidh in Irish)), located in Dublin Bay in Ireland. The island is about 5 km long and 800 m wide, lying roughly parallel to the shore off Clontarf (including Dollymount), Raheny, Kilbarrack, and facing Sutton. It is legally within the jurisdiction of Dublin City Council, in the civil parishes of Clontarf (with a wooden bridge) and Raheny (with a causeway). The island is a relatively recent, and inadvertent, result of human intervention in the bay. Shoreward is a marshy "lagoon" area into which several small watercourses flow.
Gaeilge: Trá Cnocán Doirinne ar oileán An Bulla Thuaidh (nó Oileán an Tharbh Thuaidh), suite i m Bá Bhaile Átha Cliath, beagnach comhthreomhar le cósta thuaidh na bá idir Cluain Tarbh agus Ráth Eanaigh. Tá an oileán 5 chiliméadar ar fad agus 800 méadar ar leithead. Is trá gainmheach é, ó cheann ceann an oileáin ar a chósta theas-thoir.
