The Edna St. Vincent Millay House at 75½ Bedford Street between Commerce and Morton Streets in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1873 in the Italianate style. At 9 feet 6 inches (2.9 meters) wide, it is one of the narrowest houses in New York City, if not the narrowest. Besides Edna St. Vincent Millay, other residents include Ann McGovern, cartoonist William Steig and anthropologist Margaret Mead. The house is located in the Greenwich Village Historic District.
