English: The First Church of Christ Scientist at 66 Carlton Mill Road, Christchurch. The only Christchurch branch of the Christian Scientist Church. The building was designed by Warren & Mahoney architects in 1989. An example of post-modernist architecture, the building references both classical and modernist traditions. The building won a Regional Award from the New Zealand Institute of Architects in 1992.
