English: Moengo is a town in Suriname, located in the Marowijne district, between Paramaribo and the border town Albina. In former times it was a major centre for the mining and storage of bauxite. The Olympic athlete Tommy Asinga was born in Moengo.

Français : Moengo est une commune du Suriname (ou Surinam), implantée au bord de la rivière Cottica. Elle se situe dans le District Marowijne (District du Maroni) et a été fondée en 1922, à proximité d'un gisement de bauxite. Moengo est à environ 40 kilomètres d'Albina et 90 kilomètres de Paramaribo.
