English: Presbyterian Hospital in New York City was founded in 1868 by James Lenox and was associated with Columbia University's College of Phyiscians and Surgeons. It moved into the newly created Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center (now Columbia University Medical Center) in 1928, in a buildng designed by James Gamble Rogers. It 1998 it merged with New York Hospital to become New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
