Deutsch: Tissue Engineering (TE) (engl. Gewebekonstruktion bzw. Gewebezüchtung) ist der Überbegriff für die künstliche Herstellung biologischer Gewebe durch die gerichtete Kultivierung von Zellen, um damit kranke Gewebe bei einem Patienten zu ersetzen oder zu regenerieren.
