English: The Tuna Club of Avalon, California, founded in 1898 by Charles Frederick Holder, established his first club headquarters at the Hotel Metropole, Avalon. The first clubhouse, built in 1906 burned down in 1915. It was replaced in 1916 by the present two-story structure, a white New England-style building.
