Spelling of first name

- @Artaxerxes: are you sure that "Alan" is not an alterntaive form of the forname? The forname "Alan" is quite massively used in Google--Estopedist1 (talk) 04:37, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Estopedist1: Judging by the related article, and Wikidata miscue, I'd say "Allan" is more correct. I'd also suggest that "Alan" appears so often everywhere else out of common expectation, carelessness, and laziness -- the negative consequences of which we'd prefer to avoid here?--Artaxerxes (talk) 20:07, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
