Let me start with my cons :) As my contributions will show I am not the most active member of this project, and I will not make false promises it will change. On the other hand I make some edits every months, and I have even created one template. What I often do on Commons, besides uploading images, is fixing tags, categories and adding sources to Poland-related images in need. It is here that admin access would prove useful for me, as currently when I am notified there is a problem with an image and it has already been deleted I cannot view the history to see what was missing, or restore the image if I could fix it easily - I have to hunt the image via Google Images, and reinvent the description page (or ask an admin to restore it for me). Today when I was faced with the issue of restoring an image for which the source page is now offline (and no other copy of the image seems to be preserved in Google Images) I thought that 'enough is enough' and that I should apply for access to the Commons 'mop and bucket' :) On the ending note let me state that people at w:Portal:Poland/Poland-related_Wikipedia_notice_board are always happy to address any problems with Poland-related images IF we are notified such problems exist. PS. I am also an admin of en-wiki.Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 18:53, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Neutral. I would like to see candidates more dedicated to project. Unfortunately, there are many Polish admins on Commons who doesn't appear very active. Nothing personal. --EugeneZelenko 20:06, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment currently when I am notified there is a problem with an image and it has already been deleted I cannot view the history to see what was missing -- well, this is a fact of every non-admin. Actually I think it is stupid, and all registered users should be able to view deleted edits, but they changed the software some months ago. Ah well. Also note that images can be undeleted now so you don't have to find them elsewhere if they were deleted after June 16th. And any admin can undelete an image for you. Maybe the PL-users here need to work together a bit more? pfctdayelise (translate?) 05:57, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose mildly, but still. I think that the said goal can be achieved by actively keeping an eye on the CommonsTicker - which is extremely valuable and appreciated. -Samulili 18:16, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
