- Question Is this view a bit confusing since this moth prefer to perch like this? I assume there should be some reasons (to show more body parts, etc.) to capture the museum specimens like this. -- JKadavoor Jee 09:10, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
- It is the eternal debate between naturalized specimens and photos in vivo. The two are complementary. This is not the physiological position does not show the hind wings. This species is fully protected in France (eggs, larvae, pupae, adults, dead or alive).
