SHORT DESCRIPTION

Thank you for nominating this image. Unfortunately, it does not fall within the Guidelines and is unlikely to succeed for the following reason: the image is framed, contains text and the resolution is quite low considering the individual shots Anyone other than the nominator who disagrees may override this template by changing {{FPX}} to {{FPX contested}} and adding a vote in support. Voting will then continue in the usual way. If not contested within 24 hours, this nomination may be closed.

  •  Request - The title (in English) in the middle of the photo is redundant. It bothers me to illustrate word, e.g. in Russian Wiktionary. -- AKA MBG (talk) 10:25, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Comment Agreed. It's a very nice series, and should certainly qualify as a valued image if not an FP, but the text and the framing is distracting. Just a simple black border between and around the frames would do just as well and distract less from the images themselves. (Also, it's not immediately obvious where in the sequence the frame in the lower left corner belongs; either the order should be noted in the description or perhaps the frames should be numbered.) —Ilmari Karonen (talk) 22:20, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose -- Image(s) is/(are) not sharp, seems overexposed. Frame is distracting. G.A.S 16:02, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
