She was not interested in politics: she was , at the same time, the mistress of Henri d'Orléans (1822-1897), duke of Aumale, son of king Louis-Philippe 1er, of Napoléon-Jérôme Bonaparte cousin of the Emperor Napoleon III, and of Georges Clemenceau, the famous republican.
