I agree it is not aesthetic, but the bird only shows its vent for an instant. I find that valuable. You may not. It's an uncommon nomination. I recall this nomination, done because the monkey has a distinctive blue scrotum. I will support the nom as it is the best in Commons in the scope. A suggestion on the scope. There are no other images of vents in category:Pycnonotus cafer and presumably the vent in different sub-species is visually indistinguishable.
