Commons:Wiki Loves Art Belgium in 2016
Wiki Loves Art is a photo competition / scavenger hunt that takes place throughout Belgium between 1 July and 31 August 2016. For this project, 13 museums and libraries from cities all over the country welcomed amateur photographers and allowed them to take pictures or their art collections for Wikipedia. During the course of the project several events were organized, including photo workshops, guided tours and Wikipedia writing sessions.
Wiki Loves Art is an initiative of Wikimedia Belgium, Packed vzw, FARO, Open Knowledge Belgium, and Creative Commons Belgium.
To participate, photos must be taken in one of the museums in the list below, and uploaded our special upload wizard. Only uploads during July and August 2016 will be judged by a jury, but you are welcome to upload also your images after the contest period.
