David Bowie

English: David Bowie (1947-2016) was an English musician, actor, record producer and arranger. A major figure for over four decades in the world of popular music, Bowie is widely regarded as an innovator, particularly for his work in the 1970s.

Tony Visconti both performed on and produced a number of Bowie's albums throughout his career
Trevor Bolder was a member of The Spiders from Mars and played bass on Bowie's early 1970s albums
Mick Ronson was a member of The Spiders from Mars and played guitars on Bowie's early 1970s albums
Mike Garson played keyboards on Bowie's mid-1970s albums as well as his 1990s and 2000s ones
Aynsley Dunbar played drums on Bowie's Pin Ups (1973) and Diamond Dogs (1974) albums.
Earl Slick has played guitars on many of Bowie's albums from the mid-1970s onwards
Brian Eno collaborated with Bowie and performed on his "Berlin Trilogy" albums (Low, "Heroes" and Lodger) in the late 1970s.

Bowie wrote Mott the Hoople's 1972 single "All the Young Dudes" and produced their album of the same name.
Bowie co-produced Lou Reed's 1972 album Transformer with Mick Ronson.
Bowie and Bing Crosby performed "Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy" on Crosby's television show. The song was released as a single in 1982.
A live version of Tina Turner and Bowie singing "Tonight" was released as a single in 1984.
Bowie and the Pat Metheny Group released the single "This Is Not America" in 1985.
Bowie and Mick Jagger released a cover version of "Dancing in the Street" for Live Aid in 1985.
Bowie recorded the 1993 single "The Buddha of Suburbia" with Lenny Kravitz.
In 1999, Bowie featured on Placebo's 1999 single "Without You I'm Nothing".
