English: "Enterprise" at Belfast Central - 1976 Despite the position of the tail lamp, BREL built 101 class diesel locomotive No. 101 "Eagle" is about to depart for Dublin with the 14.30 "Enterprise" passenger service. At right, the Maysfield Leisure Centre (since closed and awaiting redevelopment, see: J3473 : Former Maysfields leisure centre, Belfast (2013)) is under construction. Central Station opened on 12 April 1976 and was extensively modernised in the early years of the 21st Century. |
