Description
English: An Afghan National Army medical soldier extends wiring from the 2nd Brigade, 21th Corps Brigade Aid Station to a generator March 24, at Forward Operating Base Nolay, Sangin District, Helmand province, Afghanistan. The wiring will provide much needed power for the BAS as Afghan medics are working around the clock to provide medical care for their soldiers. The brigade's Security Force Assistance Advisor Team arrived to FOB Nolay in November with the mission to guide, assist and advise. The SFAAT was created to get the ANA and other Afghan National Security Forces to think on their own as the Coalition Forces take a step back and go from the "shoulder-to-shoulder" approach to "over-the-shoulder."
