Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 'The French Stone' in Fishguard churchyard So-called because of the unusual form of lobed cross said to be Norman in design, it is dated in Latin numerals 1501. It may commemorate David Medd, or Meredydd, vicar here in 1535, although the inscription is obscure.
