Église Saint-Martin de Castelnau-d'Estrétefonds, France. Tabernacle of the 17th century.

Description
English: Castelnau-d'Estrétefonds. Tabernacle of the 17th century - This former tabernacle has the same latticework (reparure) as the reliquary bust of Saint Blaise kept in the church. It could be the tabernacle of a destroyed altarpiece of the old high altar of the church, whose construction is ordered in 1698 by Bishop Colbert. This tabernacle is still mentioned as being extremely old in 1733.
Français : Église Saint-Martin de Castelnau-d'Estrétefonds - Ancien Tabernacle du XVIIe - Cet ancien tabernacle présente les mêmes fonds en treillis (reparure) que le buste reliquaire de saint Blaise conservé dans l'église. Ce pourrait être le tabernacle d'un retable détruit de l'ancien maître-autel de l'église, dont la construction est ordonnée en 1698 par Monseigneur Colbert. Ce tabernacle est encore mentionné comme étant extrêmement vieux en 1733.
