Description
Polski: Działobitnia to taka część obiektu fortyfikacyjnego która służy do prowadzenia ognia artyleryjskiego. Jest to stanowisko dla baterii dział lub pojedynczego działa. Zazwyczaj jest to starannie przygotowana platforma ze osłoniętymi przed ogniem wroga stanowiskami artyleryjskimi, z zapleczem technicznym, pomieszczeniami dla obsługi, oraz magazynem amunicji. Na fotografii przedstawiono działobitnię skierowaną od Cytadeli w kierunku ulicy Mickiewicza i pl. Inwalidów.
