Description
Русский: XIV-м веком заканчивается более чем двухтысячелетняя история использования в Средиземноморье амфор, для транспортировки вина по морю. Азак занимает первое место по числу склеенных амфор XIv века в мире. Почти все они происходят из одного региона, которым, по предположению Николая Фомичева и Игоря Волкова, этим регионом была Трапезундская империя – хранительница греческих традиций, где вино было государственной валютой. Поступление этих амфор продолжалось весь период существования Золотоордынского Азака. На некоторое время, сократившись в середине XIV века, оно восстановилось в 60-е годы. С течением времени увеличивался объем привозимых амфор.
