Русский: Как правило, археологи, хорошо представляя себе материал своего

региона, мало, что могут рассказать о культуре областей, удаленных на тысячи километров. Причина этого заключена в экономической и культурной замкнутости народов древности и средневековья. Это касалось даже кочевников. Но все-таки, какие-то связи между различными культурами существовали, поэтому для археологов так важно знакомство с коллекциями из других регионов. В особенности,

это касается эпохи Монгольской империи и её осколков.
