Description
Русский: Современному человеку даже сложно себе представить, на сколько более нарядной, в глазах средневекового человека, была поливная посуда, выделявшаяся своим блеском и красками среди обычной керамики. Только в XII веке она стала доступна широким массам. Не все могли купить изысканные изделия, но многим хотелось чего-то понаряднее. Гончары Золотоордынского Азака производили дешёвые неорнаментированные сосуды, преимущественно с зеленой глазурью. Среди них, столовый кувшин с биконическим туловом на кольцевом поддоне. В лавке азакского гончара можно было купить десятки таких кувшинов за раз.
