Description
Русский: Драма Михаила Ромма "Тринадцать" (1936 г.)

Фильм восстановлен в 1985 г.

Середина 1920-х годов. Десять демобилизованных красноармейцев, командир погранзаставы с женой и ученый-геолог едут по Каракумской пустыне к железнодорожной станции. По дороге им встречается полуразрушенная мечеть с замаскированным колодцем во дворе, в котором вместо воды оказывается пулемет. Командир догадывается, что он принадлежит басмачам и решает задержать банду, возглавляемую неуловимым Курбаши Ширмат-Ханом.
