Description
Русский: 1935 год. В одном железнодорожном депо готовится диверсия, цель которой — сорвать рекордный скоростной пробег, который вызвался совершить молодой машинист Митя Орлов. Для этого вредители пытаются устроить катастрофу, направив навстречу друг другу поезда Мити и его отца, Василия Орлова. Однако катастрофа была предотвращена. Сотрудники НКВД в процессе расследования случившегося выявили всю группу преступников, и скоростной пробег прошел с успехом.

В конце фильма документальные кадры: выступление Л. М. Кагановича перед железнодорожниками.
