白塔 （遼陽）

滿鐵線遼陽驛の東方約五百メートルの所に在る、名の如く正に白色の塔であるが、建設以來一千餘年を經たものと云はれて居る丈けに亦古色蒼然たるものがある。八角形で周圍には佛像が彫んであり、十三層で其の高さ七十七メートルとは全く見かけより以上である、此の邊りは東漢時代に建立せられた有名な廣祐寺の遺跡で、今は白塔公園となつて居り、遼陽人士お氣に入りの遊歩地である。
