蒙古の相撲 （蒙古）

相撲は蒙古人が喇嘛廟やオボの祭の時の催し物の中でも勇壯豪快なるものだ、筋骨隆々たる力士が手を振り足をあけて踊るよろに中央に敵を迎へ合掌し戰勝を祈りムンズと相手の襟首を摑み合ひ闊達の蒼穹の下にくんずほぐれつするゝこの勝負は同じく膝をつき手をつき、飛ばされ、ば負けだ。勝者は手をふる足を上げ踊りながら歸る。この踊りは勝者の偉力を示すものであるさうな。
