東門外の水汲み

済南には七十二泉の水の湧くところがあると云ふが、この噴水池は、東門外の堀である水が澄みきつて清麗であるので、済南城市民の飲料水になり、苦力は水汲みをして城内に運搬する、然し写真をよく見ると、支那女が洗濯をしてゐるのも見える。だからと云つて支那人に清麗、汚いは云ふだけ野暮だ。（印画複製を禁ず）
