Summary[edit]

Description

Warmer weather kicks things off again I trapped on Sunday night as it was a very warm day indeed, the night was a little clear and of course we have a near full moon at the moment to contend with it was a bit cool. The trap was moderately full come the morning and plenty of new ones to tick off for the year.

Highlights were Phoenix, September Thorn and Catoptria falsella. I also got a good selection of grass moths.

Oak Nycteoline was a new moth for the garden.

This week looks set to be very warm indeed and fantastic for moths!
