Lots of New for Year's! Since coming back from our break away it all went a bit mad really and I finally started seeing some different moths, not many but enough to keep the year list ticking over nicely. The Plutella xylostella invasion is still upon us, many have simply stopped counting as re-captures are inevitable and from people's own data from this last week we know that there must be absolutely billions of them. The best night so far was last night, and although it was a clear sky it still held up at 9 degrees and there were no less than 7 new for the year in the trap.

The next few days look very warm indeed, we could reach 24 degrees by Wednesday with a chance of a stormy shower though also.
