Reed, Chairman. 60 REPORT OF LIBRARY COMMITTEE The Library Committee has held eleven (11) meetings during the year.The largest number present at any one meeting was ten (10) ; the smallest,one (1). The bookcases in the main building have been refilled every month—theone in the maternity several times. We have coverd 1,349 books. Our frinds have generously remembered us with books and magazines. Onefine package of scrap books and pictures for the childrens ward was sent usfrom the Northwestern Settlement. As that is a Methodist work and has alarge hospital of its own denomination, this seemed to us a very gracious gift. Again we would thank the Ladies Aid Society for their annual gift of fifteendollars and the many members of the Board who have remembered us throughoutthe year. Respectfully submitted, Mrs. Fred B. TESLA COIL AND TUBES USED FOR HIGH FREQUENCY TREATMENT 61 REPORT OF VISITING AND DEVOTIONALCOMMITTEE The Visiting Committee has held four meetings during the year; the leastnumber present being three. We have to report the loss, by death, of our dear friend and co-worker,Mrs. John Woollacott, who was always an interested and active worker on ourcommittee. There are a few new members, who have joined us the past year, very muchinterested in the work of carrying good cheer and a loving message from theMaster. In April there were made about thirty-one calls. Last month (March) weare able to report one hundred and twenty-two visits to the sick and afflicted,besides those made in the childrens wards. You will be pleased to know a West Side florist has promised flowerstwice a week to the visiting committee. We sincerely hope other florists mayfollow this good example. Last spring, summer and autumn our suburbanfriends were most generous with their floral gifts. The happy Christmas was the e
