Description
English: 160626-N-OI810-164 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 26, 2016) Naval Air Crewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class (NAC/AW) Paul Nutting, assigned to the "Golden Falcons" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12, from Springfield, Missouri, prepares a collapsible, self-righting rescue basket for a search and rescue exercise aboard an MH-60S Sea Hawk. The MH-60 Sea Hawk serves in combat search and rescue, logistics, drug interdiction, anti-piracy operations, humanitarian relief operations, and airborne mine countermeasures in addition to its anti-surface warfare, naval special warfare and special operations capabilities. The USS Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
